Character Analysis: Yuuki Terumi This whole world is nothing but lies! LIES! Let me show you what I like to call the truth! The truth called DESPAIR! Background In the beginning of everything, there existed 3 ancient gods that descended from their very realm in order to oversee all of creation itself. Those are the Amaterasu Unit (or Master Unit: Amaterasu) and its siblings the Tsukuyomi Unit and Susanoo Unit. They were labeled as the Sankishin core units by others for their grand power and stature. Amaterasu was in charge of observing all of creation to make sure the world constantly exists; the Tsukuyomi Unit acts as the absolute defense in order to protect time itself and function as Amaterasu’s shield, while the Susanoo Unit was tasked to cut through and delete time itself to fix any flaws with the Master Unit’s design and function as its sword.
